Itinerary
After arriving at Cochin Airport, go to Munnar. On the road to Munnar, stop by Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls. Check into a resort for two nights' stay. Later, explore Blossom Park and the Pothemedu overlook. Overnight stay at Munnar.
After breakfast at the hotel, we drove to the Munnar highlands to tour Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, and the dispersed villages before visiting the tea museum. Stay the night in a hotel in Munnar.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and travel to Periyar, a place of endless hills, spice-scented crops and elephants. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. The Kerala Government's Department of Tourism
provides boating facilities on Periyar Lake. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Drive to Alleppey in the early morning after having breakfast. Check in at midday on a Houseboat for an overnight trip. Enjoy a 21-hour voyage across Alleppey's backwaters to see Kerala backwater village life.
